Get in touchARIA TECHNOLOGIES was established in Italy in 2025, bringing home an engineering practice run from the Netherlands since 2011. Behind that sits a longer apprenticeship — fifteen years inside the platform vendors whose technology still underpins much of European enterprise infrastructure.
Based near Como, we are a small permanent team supported by a settled group of trusted contractors — deliberately boutique, and structured so that the people who design a system are the people who build it.
Getting a platform to work is rarely the hard part. Getting it correctly sized, affordable to run, and manageable by the team who will inherit it is where most projects are won or lost — and we weigh those trade-offs explicitly, for return on investment and on the effort of the people operating the result.
We hold no vendor partnerships and resell no licences. Our recommendations are shaped by what delivers the best technical and financial outcome for the client, and by nothing else.
Alongside commercial work we support a limited number of non-profit organisations in Italy, on terms that reflect their means rather than ours.
We define the shape of a system before a line of code is written: technology selection, integration topology, sizing, and the modernisation path from what exists today. The work is done with the client, shaped by their requirements and the constraints they actually operate under.
Most enterprise value sits between systems rather than inside them. We design and build the messaging, eventing, and API layers that connect heterogeneous platforms, including those we did not build and cannot replace.

Design and implementation of the message exchange platform serving the Belgian mutualité system, delivered as part of the ATOS engineering team.
Nine projects within the FPS Finance - Federal Public Service Finance - modernisation programme, renewing the online services used by citizens and agents alike, delivered as part of the AUBAY engineering team.
Modernisation of eAmbrosia, the EU geographical indications register published by EC DG-AGRI; evolution of the ICS2 platform, collecting data on all goods entering the EU to improve security in the international transportation, operated by EC DG-TAXUD as part of the Sword Technologies engineering team.
Data collection and analysis for the indoor cultivation of microgreens and other crops, supporting growing decisions with measurement rather than guesswork. This is the collaboration that gave birth to the Indoor Cultivation System project.

Products we design and build ourselves, applying the same standards we bring to client work.
Mid-sized companies accumulate decades of documentation and then cannot find anything in it. The Knowledge Engine turns that archive into a system employees and customers can actually question — running entirely on infrastructure the company controls, with no documents leaving the building. Routine questions get answered immediately; the rest reach a person with context already attached.
Built out of necessity. Working with small organisations, we kept finding the same pattern: a WordPress site, an untrained administrator, and a breach. The E2U Content Platform is a secure, pluggable content and commerce platform for organisations that need a real website and cannot staff a security team. Python throughout, containerised deployment, open source on release.
An ecosystem of devices and software for controlled-environment growing. The market offers one light to grow everything; the scientific literature says otherwise. We designed a multi-channel LED fixture that matches spectrum to the species and to its stage of growth, with the programmability and energy efficiency commercial cultivation needs. The lighting ships today; environmental sensing and cultivation management software are in development. This business line is set to spin off into a dedicated company.
